Gas is a very common energy solution in Europe. In Norway, domestic use of gas is mostly for heating and cooking.
Boilers using hydronic heating
The most common use is heating water through a boiler. For heating the rooms in our homes, we have a choice of several solutions. Hydronic heating systems can be fitted with pipes in the floor or radiators on the walls. The system’s hot water is produced in a gas-fired boiler. The boiler also produces hot domestic water. Even with active teenagers in the house, you never run out of hot water.
Gas fireplaces
Most people who install gas in their homes also want gas for the stove, grill and patio heater. Gas is supplied to the building via underground pipes. Only biogas can be used in new installations for heating purposes. Existing buildings/facilities can still use natural gas. (ORDEN)

We send a meter reading reminder to customers in February, May and November.
If you have high gas consumption during the winter months, we will send reminders more frequently.
If you want a monthly invoice, you can submit your meter reading every month.
How to submit meter readings
MS – reply to the reminder with the new meter reading.
Email – report the meter number and reading to avlesning@molgasenergy.com
My Page – Create a user account on My Page. Once you have created a password, you can log in and register a new meter reading.
