Leading the Way in LNG Transport

Molgas operates its own fleet of over fully dedicated 150 tanks and has more than 120 driverswho are trained in loading and unloading LNG and assessed on an ongoing basis.

We execute more than 20.000 trips per year, transporting around 6 TWh annually (over 20 million MMBtu), making us the largest LNG transport company in Europe.

With extensive experience in the transport sector, our trucks and trailers are permanently monitored during the trips, with a telemetry system that enables us to control all the parameters of the transportation operation.

Our commitment to excellence ensures safe, efficient, and reliable delivery of LNG across the continent.

SAFETY & EXCELLENCE GUARANTEE

Sea transport using ISO containers

We are enhancing sea transport capabilities using ISO containers, serving regions such as the Canary and Balearic Islands, Ireland and the UK. Our initiatives aim to provide reliable and flexible LNG transport solutions, ensuring a consistent energy supply across these areas.

Advanced Container Systems for LNG and NGV

Our innovation extends to the development of advanced container systems for LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) and NGV (Natural Gas Vehicles). These systems are designed to offer safe, efficient, and cost-effective storage and transport solutions, supporting the growth of LNG and NGV markets.

Transportation

Efficient and sustainable energy transportation is crucial for meeting the growing demands of today´s world. At Molgas, we understand the importance of accessing reliable eco-friendly transportation solutions.

LNG and bioLNG transport with Molgas

At Molgas, we specialise in providing comprehensive solutions for the efficient and safe transportation of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and bioLNG to our customers across Europe. Our expertise and commitment to sustainability position us as leaders in the industry, ensuring a reliable and responsible supply of innovative energy sources.

LNG transportation

LNG is transported in liquid form at extremely low temperatures(between 120ºC and 162ºC), whichsignificantly reduces its volume and facilitates storage and transport. At Molgas, we manage a specialised fleet of LNG tankersequipped to maintain cryogenic conditions throughout the journey. Our transportation network efficiently connects production points with regasification terminals, ensuring a continuous and effective supply to diverseindustrial and commercial sectors.

BioLNG transportation

At Molgas, we are at the forefront of distributing bioLNG, a renewable form of LNG derived from biogas. This sustainable fuel is produced through the fermentation of organic waste and advanced purification processes. By integrating bioLNG into our transportation network, we provide our customers with an even cleaner and low carbon alternative for their energy needs.

At Molgas, we are committed to innovation and efficiency in order to meet our customers´ energy requirements safely, economically and in an environmentally friendly manner. Join us on the path to a cleaner and more sustainable energy future with our advanced LNG and bioLNG solutions.

Benefits of advanced logistics

Efficient energy supply

By transporting LNG and bioLNG, we ensure a consistent and efficient supply of energy to various sectors. Our advanced cryogenic technology maintains LNG at extremely low temperatures, optimising storage and transportation.

Environmental impact

Using LNG and bioLNG significantly reduces greenhouse gas emissions and noise pollution compared to traditional fossil fuels. This contributes to cleaner air and a quieter environment, promoting overall public health and well-being.

Cost savings

The lower total cost of ownership due to the LNG-oil price differential leads to substantial savings for end users. This makes LNG and bioLNG an economically viable alternative for industries looking to reduce operational costs.
